What a wonderful experience today. I'm a fatman from Northern Illinois and this food was sooooo spot on. I had my Beef baptized and double hot peppers. Sooooo good. Tried a Pizza puff for the first time and was amazing! Then when i thought it could'nt get better Big Mike gave us some deep fried cheesecake!!! Omg. Fat man was estatic! Big Mike ya hit a HR buddy. Plus a shout out to Big Dave and Peaches ya'll made us feel at home. I'll definitely be back soon and look forward to a catering for our Vol Football games!!!!! Edit: They just started pizza. This is LEGIT Chicago Tavern style (deep dish is what tourists eat). Authentic thick sweet sauce and Fontini Sausage which is no where else in Knoxville. This place is legit if ya wanting Chicago style food. Which is the ONLY thing I miss about Hellinois!
Super authentic! We were driving through Knoxville and came across this small hotdog stand. I hadn’t had a Chicago hotdog since moving away from Chicago so we stopped. Great hotdog! They use Vienna Beef and all of the proper dressings. Tasted like I was back at Wrigley! We also shared an Italian beef. It was also very good. A little small at 5” but they said that’s the only bread they’re able to get for now. If you’re in Knoxville, don’t sleep on this place!
I was SO happy to find a local place where i could get a great Chicago dog. East Knoxville needs its small businesses to be discovered by more people in our community. This place is a tiny little building in front of a strip center, so a lot of folks may miss it, but it is absolutely worth a stop (and get there early, before they sell out!)

I’ve tried countless places that claim to have “Chicago Style Food,” only to be disappointed—until now. This place is the real deal! They’ve got the authentic rolls for their Italian Beef Sandwiches, and every bite took me right back to the Windy City. The owner and his staff are genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even better. And the food? It’s fantastic—much better than Portillo’s! If you’re craving a true taste of Chicago without the plane ticket, this is the spot. Highly recommend!
So very excited to have Vienna Beef Hot dogs, Authentic Italian Beef, Maxwell Street Polish and Iltaco Pizza Puffs just 35 minutes from home instead of a 10 hour drive. Chicago Mike is doing it right and as authentically as financially possible right here in Knoxville. The flavors and experience is spot on. A real surprise! I had a cheese dog, and friends had Chicago dogs. Superior dogs served fresh and hot on delicious buns with great condiments. A must stop for me when passing down I-40. Don't waste your time and money on 'fast food'. It's very easily accessible, has nice picnic tables outside and a nice dining area inside.
First time eating here. Oh my gosh this place is outstanding! My first time trying a Maxwell Street Polish sausage. It was heavenly. The polish sausage was very crispy on the outside juicy on the inside. The grilled onions were very sweet and the mustard was great.The poppyseed bun was very soft and easy to chew. Had fries with ketchup and a bottled water. Will definitely be back!
UPDATED: Run, don't walk. They have added Chicago pizza. OMG, this is all that made it home (see pic).....ok I do have an hour drive but seriously I could not stop eating it! FINALLY!!! A wonderful taste of home! Authentic and tasty. Owner and staff are wonderful! While there, you are sure to meet someone from back home. Love it!
